Who you are dealing with

Cold Line Refrigeration Service is an independent refrigeration service company. We are not a factory service provider and we hold no manufacturer authorization. Manufacturer names and model numbers appear on this site solely to identify the appliances we repair.

The diagnostic

$80 flat diagnostic, credited toward the repair. It covers the visit, measurement of both compartments against both setpoints, assessment of the condenser for that series, recording of any stored service code as found, and identification of the affected sealed system. It is credited against the repair if you proceed. If you do not proceed, the fee is payable and the written estimate is yours to keep.

Estimates and approval

Written estimate before any part is ordered or any work begins. No part is ordered and no work begins before you approve the estimate. An estimate is valid for thirty days and may be revised if a supplier price changes or if a second fault is found once the cabinet is open. A second fault is always quoted separately before it is touched.

Parts

Genuine OEM parts. No aftermarket substitutions on sealed-system or control components. Special-order parts may be non-returnable once ordered against your model and serial number; where that applies we say so before ordering. Control-board fit is serial-dependent, which is why we do not confirm a board number from a description and do not publish board numbers on this site as definitive.

Our warranty

90 days labor, 365 days parts, genuine OEM components. Labor coverage runs 90 days from completion of the work; parts coverage runs 365 days. Coverage applies to the specific repair performed and to the parts we supplied. It does not extend to unrelated faults, to ordinary maintenance such as condenser cleaning, to damage from a power event or supply failure, to corrosion from coastal exposure, or to faults arising from an installation that was already wrong when we arrived.

The manufacturer's own coverage is separate from ours, is set by them, and is subject to their conditions. Our description of it on the warranty page is a factual summary of what Sub-Zero publishes and is not a promise made by this company.

Access, scheduling and cancellation

Mon–Fri 8am–6pm · Sat 9am–4pm · Sun closed. Scheduled appointments only. No after-hours or emergency service. We need safe access to the appliance, to the condenser grille and to the electrical supply. Built-in cabinets that must be pulled from a surround are moved only where the flooring and the surround allow it; where they do not, we say so rather than risk the installation. Please give us as much notice as you can if an appointment needs to move.

Payment

The diagnostic is payable at the visit. The balance of an approved repair is payable on completion. Prices are in USD.

Information on this site

The technical material here — setpoints, cleaning intervals, service codes, filter part numbers, failure profiles — is published for general guidance and reflects the manufacturer's published figures and our own field experience. It is not a repair manual and it is not specific to your cabinet. Appliance repair involves mains electricity, refrigerant under pressure and sealed systems that may only lawfully be opened by an EPA Section 608 certified technician. Nothing on this site should be read as instruction to open a sealed system.

Drive distances and drive times are road figures from our base, measured for guidance rather than guaranteed. Traffic, bridge closures and weather change them. Where we cannot source a local figure we print none rather than estimate one.

Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from work we perform is limited to the amount you paid for that work. We are not liable for consequential loss, including food spoilage, beyond that limit. Nothing here limits any right you have under Florida law that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

These terms may be revised; the version on this page at the time you approve an estimate is the one that applies to that job.
