An independent refrigeration company, and nothing else
Cold Line Refrigeration Service repairs built-in and integrated refrigeration in Northeast Florida. We are independent. We are not authorized by any manufacturer, we do not claim to be, and we think the distinction is worth explaining rather than hiding.
What independent means here
It means we buy parts, we set our own prices, and we answer to the person who owns the refrigerator. It also means we are outside the manufacturer's factory service programme, which is closed and publicly searchable. Any company can tell you which side of that line it is on. We are telling you plainly: we are on the independent side.
The practical consequence is usually in your favour. An independent shop can work on a cabinet of any age, quote a repair the factory network would decline as uneconomic, and source a manufacturer-covered sealed-system part while charging you only for the labor. That last one is worth real money and is covered on the warranty page.
Refrigeration only
Refrigeration only: built-in and integrated columns, freezers, wine storage, undercounter units and ice makers. We do not repair cooking equipment. Sub-Zero builds no ranges and no cooktops, and a company that offers to fix them is telling you something about how carefully it reads its own website.
Staying inside one category is a deliberate choice. Two independent sealed systems, two evaporators, a defrost circuit per side, an ice system with its own fill valve and mold, and a wine cabinet with an entirely different humidity target: that is enough to know properly.
How we work
Both compartments are read against both setpoints before anything is touched. The condenser is located for that specific series rather than assumed. Any stored service code is recorded as found. The failing sealed system is identified before a component is condemned. Then a written estimate, and only then do parts get ordered.
$80 flat diagnostic, credited toward the repair. Written estimate before any part is ordered or any work begins. Genuine OEM parts. No aftermarket substitutions on sealed-system or control components.
EPA Section 608 certified technicians — the federal requirement to open a sealed refrigeration system. Opening a sealed refrigeration system without it is a federal violation, not a technicality. Licensed and insured for in-home appliance service.
What we will not do
We do not publish control-board part numbers as definitive, because board fit is serial-dependent and a wrong board is an expensive way to learn that. We do not quote a figure for anything we cannot source, and where a number is not published for an address we print nothing rather than estimate. And we do not claim a relationship with a manufacturer that we do not have. The customer reviews we publish are printed in full, the unflattering ones included, and the average shown is the arithmetic mean of them.

We hold no appointment from any manufacturer and claim none. The affiliation statement is printed in full in the footer of every page on this site.
Manufacturer names and model numbers appear throughout this site for one reason: to identify which appliances we service. No manufacturer logo, brand typeface or brand colour scheme is used anywhere on it.
